A festival of brutal off-road racing comes to PLAYSTATION®3 with the brutal off road racing title, MotorStorm. MotorStorm sees an annual meet of off-road racing junkies from around the world as they make a pilgrimage to the wastelands of Monument Valley, Arizona, each hungry to compete in the toughest race on the planet. A race without rules or restrictions, free from governing bodies and open to anyone who wants to prove their prowess in a gladiatorial battle to the finish line.

Take part in wild orgies of destruction through virgin wilderness, tear up the ground, smash through the scenery and trash opponents’ vehicles in chaotic races where every lap brings a different challenge. Choose from 35 different vehicles in seven diverse classes from agile Moto-X bikes to unstoppable big rigs. With each vehicle available in up to seven unique styles, there are more than 200 vehicles to collect.

Each race has up to 20 competitors, controlled by next gen AI – meaning that these guys don’t just race, they taunt, block overtaking moves, ram at any opportunity - culminating in amazing Hollywood-style crash sequences. Race MotorStorm online and it’s just as intense, with players able to inflict a whole new world of pain in head-to-head no holds barred racing. Community-building features are central to the online encounters, with ladders, bespoke challenges and downloadable content all available to enhance the experience.

MotorStorm is more than just racing. Drivers, race teams and fans join together to enjoy the biggest bands of the day. Live music blasts out from the multitude of stages with performances from top bands creating a dream festival line up... By utilising MotorStorms “Live-Fi” technology you can actually hear the artists in your music collection ‘play live’ from the MotorStorm stages, as if you were hearing the tracks in the acoustics of Monument Valley creating a unique aural experience.
